Philly AWARE for All event
April 12, 2008
Penn Medicine, Drexel, Temple, TJU, & Fox Chase are participating with the Center for Information & Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) to hold the second annual “Philly AWARE for All” event at TJU. The event is for the public to improve their awareness of the importance of clinical research and the role of the research volunteer. CISCRP is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public, patients, medical/research communities, media, and policy makers about clinical research participation and the role that each party plays in the process. www.ciscrp.org

The event features plenary sessions, break-out workshops, health screenings, and informational booths. Honorary Co-Chairs are Governor Ed Rendell, Senator Arlen Specter (who is speaking as well) and Mayor Nutter.
