Both the LeadingSuccess™ program and the Supervisory Skills Certificate (SSC) program celebrated new graduates in 2011. The Office of Organization Effectiveness (OE) hosted graduation breakfasts for participants in both January and June. The celebratory event has become an enjoyable tradition for OE to recognize Perelman School of Medicine employees committed to professional development.
Executive Director of Perelman SOM Administration Robert Dugan addressed graduates at both events, emphasizing the importance of both programs as tools for effective leadership and management within the Perelman School. OE Director, Charles (Chuck) Haughton provided graduates with diplomas and expressed thanks to the many speakers and supervisors who contribute support and expertise to both programs, including OE’s Assistant Director, Gina Barrett.
The Fall 2011 cohort of the SSC is scheduled to begin this September, while cohorts 5 and 6 of the LeadingSuccess™ program are currently in progress. For more information about both programs, visit the Training and Development section of OE’s website.
