Non-invasive tests or procedures do not penetrate the body and are usually considered low-risk and painless. Clinical research involves new imaging methods including MRI / MRA, CT / EBCT, echocardiography, PET and nuclear imaging in the cardiovascular system and in patients with cardiovascular disease. Also inlcudes: molecular imaging of the cardiovascular system, and new imaging methods to detect atherosclerotic plaque progression or regression and identifying vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques.
